    This article outlines the system requirements for iTunes 1.1.

DISCUSSION

    To use iTunes 1.1 music software, your computer must meet the following system requirements:

    Listen to music

    • Any Macintosh Computer with built-in USB ports
    • Mac OS 9.1
    • Internet connection for CD database
    Make an audio CD
    • Macintosh computer with internal Apple CD recording drive
    • A qualified third-party USB or FireWire CD recording drive. Please see the iTunes Web site at http://www.apple.com/itunes/ .

    Note: Apple does not provide technical support for iTunes 1.1 when used in conjunction with Mac OS X Public Beta.
