    Mac OS X 10.0 does not import or retain network settings from Mac OS X Public Beta.

DISCUSSION

    Symptom

    The Network control panel no longer contains expected settings.

    Solution

    After installing Mac OS X 10.0:
      1. Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
      2. Click the Network icon.
      3. Re-enter your network settings.

    Mac OS X 10.0 cannot retain your previous settings due to significant changes made since Public Beta.
